The best DIY hacks to prevent hairfall – Juulsy

Do you know that moment when you wake up and see strands of hair all over your pillow, is scary and sets you into panic mode. Girl, we feel you and and know how stressful hairfall can be. Take a chill pill and read carefully as we share with you ten tried and tested ways to fight hairloss and keep those tresses where they belong.

Coconut Milk

Coconut milk is known to have rich properties that nourish hair tissues.

Take scraps of a coconut and grind them in a blender. Squeeze the paste to extract coconut milk. Now apply this coconut milk extract generously on your hair and scalp and leave it on for at least 15- 20 minutes. Keep massaging your scalp with the coconut milk. Try and follow this regime once a week to prevent hairloss.

Juice of Neem Leaves

Most effective natural remedies include this amazing herb as it is packed with medicinal properties. Boil neem leaves in water until the water reduces to half its quantity. Let the mixture cool down and wash your hair and scalp with it. Repeat this process once or twice a week regularly to prevent hair loss.

 

Aloe vera to fight hairfall

Aloe Vera

Aloe vera juice is extremely effective in preventing hair loss and also provides nourishment to your hair and scalp. All you need to do is cut the aloe vera leaf in half and apply the juicy portion of the leaf on your scalp. This pure aloe extract will prevent hair loss due to scalp dryness or irritation. Massage it into your scalp properly for best effects, and then wash it off with lukewarm water after a few hours.

Lime Seeds

A combination of lime seeds and black pepper are found to be effective in preventing hair fall when it occurs in small patches on your scalp. Powder the dried lime seeds and add to fresh grounded pepper. Mix these powders with a two to three teaspoons of water to make it a smooth paste. Apply on the areas of your scalp where you feel hair loss is prominent and massage it to rejuvenate your scalp. Repeat this process once a week to see hair growth in the affected areas.

Honey and Olive Oil

This uber nourishing potion will fight hairfall and keep your locks thick and healthy. Add two tablespoons of honey to two tablespoons of olive oil in a bowl. Mix it well and to this mixture add a tablespoon of fresh cinnamon powder to make a smooth paste. Apply this mixture on the scalp and hair and leave it for 20 - 25 minutes.
This will not only soothe hair and but is also super effective in growing new hair, yaaas! Repeat this every week for the best results.

Egg White and Curd

Eggs are well known for their amazing effects on hair, mostly conditioning. Egg whites when mixed with curd, with a dash of neem leaves work wonderfully for hairfall.
Take egg whites of two eggs in a bowl and add two tablespoons of fresh curd or yoghurt. Mix this well and then add a tablespoon of shikakai or neem powder to this mixture. Apply it generously on your scalp and leave it for 30 minutes. Then nourish your hair with the right shampoo and conditioner.

Amla

Amla or ‘Indian gooseberry’ is a great natural remedy to prevent hair loss and  boosting natural hair growth.

Heat coconut oil with amla until the color of the oil turns black. Let the mixture cool and then apply it on your scalp. Massage your scalp with this mixture properly for 10 minutes. Leave it on the scalp for about 30 minutes and then wash it off. Repeat once a week.

Onion and Honey

This might not sound like a mixture you want to taste but it sure works wonders on your scalp! Cut the onion in half and apply the juicy part of the cut onion all over your scalp so that every part is covered. Now follow this by generously applying honey all over the scalp and massaging it into the scalp. Leave it on for a few minutes and wash it off with lukewarm water. Repeat this process once in ten days to prevent hair fall.

Beetroot Juice

The wonderfully potent beetroot is a fantastic kitchen ingredient that stops hair loss and promotes regrowth. Beetroot is rich in essential nutrients so be sure to drink beet-root juice daily or include it in your regular diet for fast and healthy hair growth.

You could also boil beetroot leaves in water and make a paste. Apply this thick paste to scalp and leave it on for 30 minutes, then rinse off with water. Follow this at least twice in a week for better hair growth and quick results.

Hibiscus leaves or flowers 

Hibiscus flowers and leaves are a well-known aryurvedic remedy or hair loss. They have also been widely used as an effective cure for split ends and dandruff as well.

Heat 12-15 hibiscus flowers in 2 tablespoons of coconut oil. Strain the solution and collect the oil. Apply this concoction to the scalp and hairs, leave overnight and wash in the morning. To use the hibiscus leaves, grind them into fine paste and apply the paste to the scalp and hairs. Leave it on for 30- 60 minutes. Rinse off with plenty of water.
